West Coast Cart Co., Inc. (WCCC) has been in business since 1989 and provides quality services and products to stores of all types throughout the Western United States. Service crews work on location, at our customer's stores, offering a variety of cleaning services, as well as complete equipment repair. Services are available on a regularly scheduled basis through our FULL SERVICE MAINTENANCE (FSM) program, or on an "on-call" basis. WCCC is authorized for warranty service and repair by the nation's leading equipment manufacturers. We are licensed, bonded and insured, and fully guarantee our work.

Description of Basic Services

Cleaning
Every piece of equipment is cleaned with high pressure hot water. Stickers, food deposits and dirt buildup are removed. Care is taken to protect chrome and special finishes. Our water recovery system is used where EPA compliance is required.

Service
We lubricate all shopping cart caster and all rolling stock equipment. We remove string and debris from wheels and casters. We straighten shopping cart front and rear gates, corner wires and lower trays. We paint rust and weld spots.

Repair
Our service personnel thoroughly inspect all equipment from all departments and make repairs as needed. Repairs include welding of frames and wires, realignment of broken, worn out and missing parts. NOTE: We clean and remove excessive rust when possible, but paint only at the Store Manager's request. Treating a major rust problem may constitute an additional charge.

Recommended Frequency
All damaged equipment must be repaired when cleaned and serviced in order to ensure maximum production and to promote employee and customer safety and goodwill. Broken and damaged carts, left in service, continue to break down and, in turn, break down other carts when "nested" together, thereby causing higher repair costs. They also become a hazard and irritation to employee and customers. Remove such carts from service, store them in a protected area (to minimize exposure to weather and vandalism) and have them repaired during the next service. 

Warranty Work
WCCC has been authorized to perform warranty work for the nation's leading shopping cart and production cart manufacturers. When you discover manufacturing defects with the new equipment, we can help you receive full warranty benefits.

Wheel Warranty
WCCC warranties the bearings in its replacement wheels for a period of five years against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, vandalism or
abusive treatment.

Authorization
WCCC employees will perform all services required of them for each service call as outlined in the Description of Services. However, Store Management must preauthorize any work for which there may be an additional charge.
